Monitoring international trade in endangered species

Implementation

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) and the World Conservation Union (IUCN) have been instrumental in establishing and running TRAFFIC (Trade Records Analysis of Flora and Fauna in Commerce), a global network which monitors trade in wild animals, plants, and wild life products. TRAFFIC also facilitate in implementing CITES.
