Integral consciousness

Description

The final stage in the evolution of consciousness in which abstraction of mental consciousness is concretized into a state of diaphanous transparency. The waking state of consciousness is not simply expanded (space-bound) but intensified. This intensification of consciousness leads to transparency of the presence. Conceptualized by Gebser, a likeness to Aurobindo's integral conception of yoga can be stated, with the characteristics of openness, freedom from time and space, aperspectivity, and inclusion of the four preceding steps in its capacity to concretize itself. Its origin lies within the presence and the present step within the evolution of consciousness of mankind.
