Christ consciousness as empty mind (Christianity)
Description
Consciousness is not bound by any particular pattern or form of perception or conception; the language and thought patterns of a particular culture no longer bind reality. The mind is flexible and open to other concepts. As Christ does not define himself in terms of place, any place is his home. He does not define himself in terms of a social group, he is open to any person independent of social status, he can challenge any social structure. He does not define himself in terms of one legal system. Respecting a system of laws as an expression of a mode of consciousness, he is nonetheless not bound by it. Respecting places, status of persons, law, he recognizes that they are not absolute. As Christ consciousness, the empty mind is also Christian consciousness.
