Using a specially-developed questionnaire to elicit responses of couples on subjects such as communication, conflict resolution, personality, finances, religion, parenting, family and friends, sex and egalitarian roles.
A 125-question test developed by the University of Minnesota claims to predict with 80 to 85% accuracy which couples will divorce. More than 20,000 counsellors and members of the clergy, including USA military chaplains, now encourage or require couples to take the test before they marry.
