Supporting development of women's organizations

  • Supporting establishment of women's organizations
  • Upholding right of women to organize

Description

It is imperative to acknowledge women's right to establish their own organizations to raise consciousness of their contribution to improving family living standards, especially within the social disadvantaged communities in countries where such organizations do not exist. Extending financial and technical support to women's organizations enables them to plan and implement their own programmes, train their members to the highest standards, and consequently to extend their organizational units and programmes broadly, including to rural areas and smaller towns.
