Nature

Individuals so void of social responsibility, a sense of morality or ability to identify with others that they murder masses of people are found throughout history and in every culture. Some because of social position or political power are immune from social sanction and can kill indiscriminately. Others in an effort to maintain their freedom kill one person, move to another city and kill again. Still others, disregarding their own life, walk into a crowded place and kill until they are stopped. Until ways can be found to prevent these people from murder they will always be potentially present in society.
