Bunion
Nature
A bunion is a condition found over the joint at the base of the big toe, in which not only is there thickening of the skin but the head of the metatarsal bone of the foot becomes unduly prominent beneath the thickened skin, usually due to ill-fitting, confining shoes. This condition can also be very painful when walking.
