Ontological identification
Description
A realization of the 'is-ness' of things which is associated with consciousness training such as is used in Zen Buddhism and other mystic disciplines, ontological identification entails a respect for everything that exists and a willingness to let it remain as it is.
Context
The second of three bases of identification enunciated by Warwick Fox as necessary for realizing an expansive sense of self.
