Teaching inter-cultural economics

Description

Giving individuals the skills and awareness necessary to function effectively within cross-cultural economic bodies. The effect is that by developing a comprehensive global awareness in people operating on a local level within international economic cooperative, it ensures that decisions made in all arenas of the co-ops would be on the basis of global need, creating the style of responsible global persons, on the local level, who have the context to make any decision on a universal basis.

Context

An integral part of localizing cooperative participation and enabling each individual to have an equal opportunity for effective participation in the global economic process.

Implementation

Tactics include: structural design to create an occupationally oriented and culturally comprehensive framework for exposing cooperative's personnel on the grassroots level to the discipline of intercultural economics; leadership development to provide advanced training and operational expertise for locally-emerging leaders of the cooperatives; globalized occupations to re-image each person's work as a global engagement, by reformulating guilds to operate within a world-wide context, and use such constructs as station assignment; trends research to reveal world economic and cultural dynamics to the educational system to intensify and keep current the images it communicates; local recruitment to ensure broad-based participation by the recruitment of cooperative members for the educational construct. An example is a leadership development course for people in a local co-op on a world-wide cultural revolution which would shift their self-story.
