Create opportunities for donors and potential donors to obtain first-hand knowledge of organization's work. Negotiate with donors on cost sharing, contracts, overheads etc.

  1. Overdependence on donor funding for large-scale intervention may compromise independence and credibility. NGOs must explore alternative approaches and rely more heavily on available resources inside the country and the community in which they work.
