In science, philosophy and mathematics, truth is not correctness. Truth lies in the possibility for error. Otherwise there is a tautology – there is no truth because it is a self-referencing system. Error is possible when a system is open. Closed systems may remove error, but they also eliminate the space to move.
Making mistakes means that exploration is occurring at the boundaries of experience and knowledge. It is an indication of the potential for discovery. Experiencing the margins creates a "polyvalent" person, someone capable of communicating with a wide variety of people and of collaborating in an increasing number of contexts.
Only errors exist.
