Safeguard the individual's right to make free and informed choices in regard to reproductive and sexual health and advocate sound government policy in support of this right.
Securing reproductive health means providing information, education and services about reproduction, pre- and post-natal care, assisted deliveries, family planning services and control and prevention of HIV/AIDS and STD (sexually transmitted disease).
Disseminate information, through the media, NGO networks and other means on the benefits and rights of the individual to reproductive and sexual health care; speak out against infringements of these rights, which may occur through obstructive or coercive national policies and practices; campaign to remove political, legal and administrative barriers to the provision of sexual and reproductive health services.
