Giving small grants

An umbrella grant is a funding mechanism designed to deliver relatively small amounts of funds to each of a number if organizations through a financial reward to a lead organization. The lead organization is responsible for technical and administrative assistance to subgrantees. Umbrella grants may be mission or centrally funded.
