Exchanging military data

Interchanging basic military information between conflicting forces in an effort to diminish the likelihood of accidental war.

At the 35-nation Conference on European Security and Disarmament in January, 1985, NATO proposed that NATO and the Warsaw Pact should annually exchange information on their military command organizations.
