Decontamination
Description
Removing (by neutralization or destruction) the toxic chemical agents from weapons, material, terrain, clothing and food supplies to eliminate the residue of a chemical attack.
Counter-claim
In some cases the high cost and extreme complexity of decontamination renders quarantine of an area or storage of contaminated objects a more suitable approach.
