Vicarious criminal liability

Liability for crimes committed by another simply because of the relationship between the parties. In practice vicarious liability is limited to employer-employee situations in which the employer is made vicariously liable for any crimes committed by an employee. This may or may not involve crimes committed in disregard of instructions or orders.
