Tuberculosis of the genito-urinary system affects the bladder, fallopian tubes, kidney, prostate gland, seminal vesicles, testis, ureter and uterus, and is associated with the formation of abscesses in the genito-urinary system. Late effects of tuberculosis include calcification and contraction of the kidney, stricture of the oviducts and ureter, hydronephrosis and pelvic adhesions.
