Torture through breaking bones

Victims of torture frequently have legs and arms broken, hands and feet crushed and jaws smashed as well as other bones broken through beating and other forms of torture.

Breaking bones has been reported in the following countries: (Africa) Mali, Rwanda; (America) Suriname; (Asia) Bahrain, Bangladesh, India, Korea Rep; (Europe) USSR.
