Superficial research

  • Superficial surveys
  • Superficial consultation
  • Superficial investigations
  • Top down research methodologies

Nature

Research methodologies are too often employed superficially, simply to describe and categorize within the well-trodden arena of the possible, believable or assimilative. They do not synthesize and interpret data in such a way as to expand society.

Claim

New knowledge and skills require vision in order to be applied effectively. When analysis of data is not synthesized into workable solutions for problems, then the result is inadequate research inapplicable to the requirements of the whole of society.
