Anger, rage and fury are seen in Chinese medicine as expressions of Wood Yang. If this is caused by an overfullness shi of Qi in the Gall Bladder, symptoms such as chronic irritability, unreasonable temper tantrums and a choleric temperament manifest. There may be migraines in the temples or at the crown of the head. Prolonged over time, a state of unexpressed rage often leads to high blood pressure or gall stones.
