Delays in shipping owing to unavailability of vessels, strikes, or port congestion, may cause excessive storage costs, food spoilage, exposure to weather, exposure to theft and pilfering, delays in overseas production or construction in the absence of materials; and, in the case of needed food, medical, or disaster relief shipments, even death.
