Manipulation of UN by vested interests

By the late 1980s nearly all aspects of the UN had been co-opted by the PLO and radicals financed by petro-dollars. The provisions of the Charter dealing with the non-use of force had been distorted by reinterpretations legitimizing the use of all means, including terror, in the struggle for liberation from "alien, colonialist, and racist" rule, typified by Israel.
