Intellectual prejudice

The holding of biased intellectual views concerning social, political, ideological, or economic theories or philosophy may lead to stagnation and lack of flexibility in ideas, to intellectual conflict, and to intellectual repression where authorities are prejudiced against opinions which they feel could be damaging socially, economically, or politically.
