Inadequate post-riot assistance

A 1993 report shows that Korean-American shop owners suffered $400 million of the nearly $1 billion in damage after the Los Angeles riots of 1992. Because of reportedly inadequate post-riot assistance, only one third of the Korean-American shop owners were able to resume business in 1993.
