Enterotoxaemia caused by Clostridium perfringens Types B and C

Nature

Infection with Clostridium perfringens Types B and C causes severe enteritis, dysentery, toxaemia, and high mortality in young lambs, calves, pigs and foals. Type C also causes enterotoxaemia in adult cattle, sheep and goats.
