Cranial nerve disorders

Damage or injury to the cranial nerves can have as consequences: division of the nerve, lesion in the continuity of the nerve, traumatic neuroma, or traumatic transient paralysis, and all these effects may be accompanied by open wounds. Any cranial nerve can be injured.
