Conformism

Conformism is anti-individualist, reduces variety in living, and tends to follow established patterns. Conformism may occur within an ethnic or other social group, reinforcing prejudices and conflict with other groups. It may occur on a national level and may involve forced assimilation and lack of cultural integration of ethnic groups, leading to a loss of cultural heritage.
