Coercion by security forces

Incidence

In 1993, the seventh body of similarly-executed IRA member was found dumped with a bullet in the back of the head. Those killed were believed to be informers discovered and killed by the IRA, but there is suspicion that in some instances their double-agency was not voluntary but under coercion from British security forces, the Royal Ulster Constabulary.
