Description

This is one of the highest forms of mystical consciousness described in Sufism. It is said to follow that of contemplation (mushahada) and to be characterized by the practitioner becoming firmly rooted in divine contemplation and communion with the holy. It is a consciousness attained with clear vision, by the power of faith.

Context

The ninth psychic state listed by A Reza Aresteh as progress on the inner self through divine attraction, kedesh-jazba, the outer self already having been purified through conscious effort, kushesh.
