Twelve-fold knowledge (Systematics)

  • Autocracy

Description

Autocracy is the primary affirmation by which all possible experience is brought into existence whether as the potential pattern or the actual pattern of the universe. It can only be experienced through a minimum of twelve independent terms. This twelve-fold knowledge is the first through which all the main elements of experience can be represented. It combines dynamism and diversity, or relativity and relatedness. It is the culmination of the transformations whereby the structure of existence is first disordered, then corrected, then redeemed, then finally perfected. Through the form of knowledge action is possible without domination, willing without reaction, to unify all possibilities.

Context

The last in a sequence of twelve modes of knowledge, identified by J G Bennett, inspired by G Gurdjieff.
