Rapturous happiness due to insight (Buddhism)
Description
The five kinds of happiness arise and permeate the whole body. The meditator, thinking that such happiness has never arisen before, believes he has reached fruition, interrupts the course of insight. This is karmically unprofitable, because he mistakes the path.
Context
One of the ten imperfections of insight of Hinayana Buddhism.
