Purusartha (Hinduism)

In Hinduism there are said to be four great aims of life, [artha]

(wealth), [dharma]

(righteousness), [kama]

(culture and art) and [moksa]

(spiritual freedom). When these are in harmony there is no discord between the natural and spiritual life.
