Hindu-states of awareness (Buddhism, Tibetan)
Description
This state of awareness is characterized by a cultured, full life, but with a superficial externalized and ritualized spiritual view. It is represented by the Brahmin culture of the Indo-Pakistan subcontinent. This state, despite high achievements, leads to subjectivity and meditative accomplishments that are not sufficiently stabilized or analytical and are thus bound to generate karma within cyclic existence.
Context
In Tibetan Sakya Buddhism this is one of the states in the "Ascension Stages Game". In some sets it is numbered 22 on the board.
