Depth consciousness (Jung)
Description
It is recognized that the psychology of Jung has penetrated even deeper into the unconscious than has that of Freud. Jung's psychology affirms the ego-modes of consciousness while also recognizing the limitations of such modes and the possibility of transcending them; and points to the reality of the creative tension inherent in the ego-self axis.
