Cultural evolution

Description

This is the process by which man's cultural products (such as tools, art, language, belief systems, disciplines) evolve over time from their primitive origins. At the present time, it is evident in the emergence of new cultural products, some of which will survive for longer periods of time as more successful reflections of man's needs and of the evolution of the human mind. At the same time there is an awareness of the need to safeguard the achievements of every culture and make them accessible to all.
