Al-Qahhar (Sufism)

The believer is aware of Allah as the subduer, dominating creation with irresistible power which is balanced by al-Latif (loving finesse). The light of al-Latif shines on beautiful characteristics, the darkness of terror on negative qualities such as rebellion and denial. Refuge from Allah al-Qahhar is sought in Allah al-Latif.
