World brain

A world brain has been suggested as a new type of social organ, based on a world-wide organization, which would reorganize and reorient education and information. An important function would be to draw knowledge together into a comprehensive conception of the world and to counter the tendency to make very little use of the social, economic and political knowledge that already exists in attempting to alleviate world problems.
