Sensitivity analysis
Description
Determination of how accurately different data must be known in order to be reasonably assured a problem solution is optimal. Sensitivity analysis shows the implications on final solutions of slight variations of parameters. If an optimum solution is sought, it can show for what ranges of changes in values of elements of the analysis the solution is still optimum. Alternatively it can show the ranges of values which will still yield an acceptable solution.
