Morphogenesis
Description
The process whereby animals and plants (and possibly organizations and societies) acquire form and structure. For example, the process by which a nearly undifferentiated droplet of protoplasm, the fertilized ovum, becomes eventually transformed or transforms itself into the complex architecture of the multicellular organism.
