International university

An institution or system of institutions with objectives such as the following: (a) stimulate and strengthen cooperation among individuals, research institutions and universities in order better to contribute to the satisfaction of the economic, social and cultural needs of the peoples of the world and to contribute to objectives of peace and progress; (b) undertake studies and research on problems arising out of the application of the Charter of the United Nations and on the theoretical and practical problems of putting such ideas and principles into practice; (c) constitute a meeting ground and stimulate thinkers and researchers anxious to contribute to the solution of world problems; (d) constitute a forum for free and independent discussion and responsible confrontation of the most varying ideas and ideologies; (e) make available to the international community the results of such discussions and of interdisciplinary and inter-ideological studies.
