Intellectual cooperation

Collaboration among scholars and intellectuals (usually understood to be from different countries) on matters of common concern. This may include such activities as: exchange of persons between scientific institutions; exchange of scientific and scholarly publications; establishment of information clearing houses; cooperation in scientific research; and protection and promotion of the working conditions and welfare of scientific workers.
