Description
1. Artificial and abrupt integration i.e., via conquest, edict, etc., where one language replaces another.
2. Natural and prolonged integration via acculturation or assimilation, e.g. where a linguistic minority is eventually absorbed.
3. Evolution of differentiated or diverse languages towards a shared vocabulary, similar syntax, etc., culminating by merging into what becomes a new language.
4. Creation of Esperanto, Volapuk or other proposed world languages.
5. Evolution of mathematical and logical symbology, e.g. the language of machine, artificial intelligence.
