Integrated circuit
- Integrated microcircuit
Description
Complex, highly dense microcircuits with tens and hundreds of thousands of components created by modifying their crystal lattices, and capable of a number of functions, ranging from total control of automated processes, to special applications in telecommunications, computers and weapons systems. Integrated circuits may be regarded as containing a logic or a programme. Their use is basic to a concept of integrated electronic engineering.
