Integrated
- Unified
- Consolidated
Description
1. A structure, system or entity composed of separate parts united together to form a more complete, harmonious or coordinated whole, whether in the form of a physically interconnected system (such as an electronic circuit or a factory), or achieved solidarity and patterns of communication within a social group or organizational system.
2. A distinction may be made between integrated and integrative, with the first implying an achieved, completed, or predefined degree of integration within an established framework, whilst the second implies the facilitation of a process of integration whose scope and nature has not been predetermined within any framework and remains essentially open-ended.
