Description

1. In determining a physical system's macroscopic state a statistical sample or collection of a large number of identical many-particle systems, replicating the study system, which all have identical macroscopic states; for example, the microcanonical ensemble; and which allows for probabilistic values.

2. In music, a small number of performers, or a chamber work for such players.

3. A theory of fellow-craftsmanship among actors which adds a dimension to dramatic productions.

4. Any group of performing artists.

5. A group of any public constructions intended to be aesthetically unified, such as around urban squares, grand places and the like.
