Description
1. A value concept expressing the notion of the best, or sometimes the original, of a form of human product, activity or behaviour. Thus one reads the classics, views classical art, listens to classical music and considers human artifacts and theories that are imbued with classicism. There are also classical mechanics and physics and classical styles of clothing.
2. Anything pertaining to the cultures of the ancient Hebrews, Greeks and Romans; i.e. the foundation of western culture.
